Plumbing - leak in plastic toilet cistern.

by ronvick » Tue Apr 13, 2010 8:04 pm

HI,
I have a plastic toilet cistern, in an outhouse, which has a hairline crack in the facing of it, and is causing water to seep from it. I have tried to repair it with an instant repair aerosol spray, but it hasn't solved the problem.
If anyone can offer any guidance or advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :?

ronvick,
Buy and fit a new one. Repair will never be successful because the tank changes shape as it fills.
