Roofer Repairing and Rendering Roof and Chimney in Rain?

by herby123 » Fri Mar 04, 2016 10:56 am

I have just had my roof rendered and chimney also, but he did it in the rain and sleet, he said it would be OK as he is using PVA bonding but I have my doubts. I have not paid him yet as I said I need a few days to see the work in dry weather. Is there a longer term risk on the work he has done?

i agree, pva bonding is very good as a moisture blocker. He should be considering his health and safety though!!

If you really doubt his work, then wait and see the result after the good weather.
