I am after some advice here from all of you planning permission expects.
I am trying to gain some more knowledge on suitable development plots so if i come across any opportunities in futures i can have at hand a better understanding of what will make a "development site"
I have attached an example below.....
As you can see marked by the arrow there is a property to the right hand side with has that large garden.
Is this the sort of site that will gain planning permission for say an average 3 bed detached dwelling.
For a comparison the Property to the right hand side of the arrow is large 4 bed detached property.
Problems i see about this location........
· Suitable room for Off street parking/ Driveway?
· Close proximity to the houses either side?
· The property to the left hand side is a large (tall) 3 story building which was built about 8 years ago so they may not be keen on another dwelling so close?
· Overlooking any properties?
This is simply a discussion tool so we can all learn (if required) a little more about suitable plots.
