Potterton HE Plus error code E133
I have a Potterton HE Plus 24 boiler and some mornings it does not come on and has an error code E133. We have changed the ingination unit and the spark plug but it still keeps happening. It does not happen every day and it comes on perfectly in the evening by itself. I reset the boiler everymorning to fire it up. Has anyone got any ideas why this is happening.
E133 is a gas supply/ignition fault code.
If you have checked and replaced ignition electrode/probe, check the flame sensing probe. All OK, you need an RGI to check gas pressures. If I had to guess, as it only happens now and again - I'd go for lazy gas valve/solenoid. htg
