Problem with Hotpoint Aquarius wf541

Wonder if anyone could help or advise, my hotpoint aquarius has been leaking in the last few cycles and yesterday turned into an all out flood in our kitchen. Been told it could be the filter or pump but dont know where to locate or how to clean these as have no manual as it was lost in the move. any help would be appreciated as getting the clothes washed at the in-laws isnt an attractive prospect!
