Problem With Leaking Mixer Tap at Base of Upright Section Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

I have a problem with a basin mixer tap. It is leaking from the base of the upright section when the hot water supply is switch on (difficult to see where from precisely). I have replaced the flexi hoses and also the cartridge but it is still leaking.

Do I simply need to replace the tap or is there anything else it could be?

I don't know what you mean by the upright section. Any chance of a photo of this tap?
