problems with a combi boiler

by undertaker » Mon Mar 10, 2008 9:49 pm

I am having a few problems with a worcester/ bosch heatslave 20/25 combi boiler. It is losing pressure, making a banging noise when hot water tap is switched on, ch stays on and sometimes radiators are too hot to touch.

Sounds like it's overheating, and the pressure relief valve could be releasing the excess pressure to outside.

Have you noticed the Pressure relief discharge pipe releasing any water ?

Is the boiler auto-air vent open, all radiators heat to the top ?(no air in system)

Get a heating engineer out to repair. Could be a faulty thermostat or sensor.
