by bundy84 » Fri Apr 10, 2009 7:09 pm

Ok, so i just changed my Honeywell thermostat (that was knackered!) out for a horstmann DRT-2, the only thing is the instructions are completely useless and mis-leading :x Weren't sure if anyone knows how to program these things cos at the moment its nearly 26 C in my house! cheers

The principle to programming the new type of programmable thermostat is fairly straight forward once you understand the principle. One thing I can say from experience is, the factory set temps are always too hot and that results in the 26 degrees problem.

What specifically is the problem?
