Pull Cord Switch Wiring for Bathroom Light and Ventilation Fan

by masterlau » Tue Aug 08, 2017 12:43 pm

Hi there

I have a pull cord switch for the bathroom that seems to be for lights and may be ventilation fan.

This needs replacing, but inspecting the current installation there are 4 wires in place. i have looked everywhere and can only find part of 2 wires.

can anyone help?

Kind regards

Your post makes no sense. You have 4 wires where? and two wires where?
And did the original switch operate your extractor fan? It either did or it didn't.
Please elaborate with better information and some idea of colours of cables.
