pump wont stop running!!!!

If any body could help please advise

i have a fully pumped system, when programmer turned to off or programmed to turn heat off the lights go off on programmer but pump still runs, have removed progammer from back plate and still pump runs only way i can turn it off is at the mains (fused spur)

Has anybody had this fault before? :?:

Sounds like one of your motorised zone valves or the 3 port diverter valves , which ever you have fitted, has stuck open. When the valve is open the microswitches inside the motor housing make a circuit bringing on the pump. Replacement valve heads cost sround £40 and require some basic wiring to replace or if your skills were up to it, you can replace the motor for around £10. Hope this helps, good luck
