push button flush acts like "zebede"

by Meeki » Mon Aug 25, 2008 9:08 pm

Hi

We have a push button flush on a toilet which has worked fine for the past 18 months since it was fitted when we had our bathroom refurbished, however, now whenever we flush the toilet the push button springs up in the air after flushing like "zebede" (Magic Roundabout) together with a spring

Having looked at the problem I am at a loss as to why this happens

The spring fits over a plastic rod which is pushed down by the push button flush to flush the toilet and I enquire if anyone knows why this is happening
