push button toilet cistern

by highlander » Wed Dec 17, 2008 10:32 am

I have a Roca dual push button Cistern. The buttons are no longer sitting flush with the top of the cistern and appear to be sinking .The toilet does not flush properly unless the buttons are held downand then the buttons do not come right bsck up. How can I get the buttons back to where they should be?

highlander,
The buttons lever out of the top of the chrome bezel, underneath is a screw which needs to be removed so that the bezel and cistern lid can be removed. Check the height of the water level in the cistern there is usually a line on the back of the cistern. Refit in reverse order, unscrew the two operating rods to get the buttons back flush with the bezel.
end
