Hi we have been given a second hand conservatory which is around 6.5sq metres. We are planning on putting it up around 1.5M from the boundary wall (we are in a semi detached house) it is my understanding that if it is more than 1M away from boundary and less than 8sq m I do not need planning permission (there are no other extensions/buildings on my house) or building warrant. Also there would be no need for a fire wall.
Could someone who has some knowledge of this please advise if this is in fact correct.
We are planning on getting a planning officer round to be sure but would appreciate some input.
