a radiator in my daughters bedroom has been off all summer, when i have turned the heat valve back to on it wont get warm
i have bled it and water comes out,it gets a bit warm at the top, nothing at the bottom, then after a while it is cold allover again
i rebled it and the same happenend, slightly warm at the top cold at the bottom, then cold all over 10 mins later?
is it sludge at the bottom as on other posts
thanks in advance

Hi,

If the "heat valve" you refer to is a TRV (thermostatic radiator valve),then remove the head and pull the pin upwards about 2-3mm and spray a little wd40 or similar on it.
