Post by DonGilham » Wed May 16, 2007 5:54 am

Hi. I am aware that Building Regulations state that
Any pipework placed in screed must be accessible through proprietary ducts with removable covers.
please could you tell me when this was introduced ?

I am buying a house that was built in 1987, and has solid concrete floors, shouls the pipework have been laid in propritory ducts ?

Thanks for your help.
It would take forever for us to search back through the regs Don. Ring the building control officer of your local council, they will (should) have regs changes on file.
