Radiator valve connections

Post by fpollacchi » Wed Mar 28, 2007 8:19 am

I am fitting a new radiator, the valves are 15mm but the pipe work is either 8 or 10mm copper microbore.
How do I connect the microbore to radiator valves?
What type of reducer or insertion is needed?
does it require any special olives?
what is the best way to trim the microbore pipe?
I think I only have room for a hacksaw?

Thanks for your help.

They do sell 10mm radiator valves, but you can buy 15mm to 10mm reducing sets.

You have 2 options either swap the 15m for 10m valve or get a 10m reducer, i doubt it will be 8mil pipe.
