Radiators heating when off

Post by usguvna » Sun Nov 23, 2008 10:20 pm

I recently had my boiler (wallstar) serviced. Since then the radiators heat up when I'm heating just water (CH off)heat is off. The water in the tank is not hot but my radiators are hot. It's as if the water for the tabk is being directed to radiators. If it helps, during the service a 60 x 65 nozzle was replaced. The radiators are still heating via normal means also. I could almost take this now but then I think it's wrong, if it was summer my radiators would be heating when I just want hot water for showers ect.

What type of heating system do you have? Google Honeywell sundial plans it will allow suggestions of where the fault may lie.

Can't see the connection between the fault and a service.

your mid position or zone valve is passing, just means its not shuting off your heating circuit off when hot water is on. Its a very easy job for a plumber!
