Radiators not getting warm

by dominics » Wed Dec 12, 2007 2:50 pm

Hi, I have just installed a new Wilo Smart pump. I have bled the rads upstairs and downstairs. I have even vented the pump as per manufacturers instructions. But still no heat to the Rads.

The Water is hot in the pipe before and after the pump but not around the piping to the rads. Any ideas?

It sounds like the pump. Is wired wrong or has a power failed.

You need to check the wiring and the fuse for the pump.

Or it could just be a bad pump, or its seized.

Really, there could be all sorts of things at fault here. Does the hot water get hot? Does your system have a zone valve? Is it opening? Can you hear the pump running? Do you hear air in the water? What type of system do you have? Really need more info to be able to help.
