Radiators Wont Heat Up Since New Pump Installed All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

heating was working 2 to 3 weeks ago but recently it stopped working, turned out the pump had stopped working, i changed the pump but since then i can only get heat to 2 maybe 3 upstairs radiators and cant get any heat to the downstairs at all, does anyone have any idea what has happened or what i have done wrong?

Need to know a bit more about your system. Is this an open vented system or pressurised ? Are there any motorised valves ? Is the hot water side gravity or fully pumped ?
Exactly what did you do to replace the pump ?

It could be as simple as air caught in the pipework (not the radiators) and there may be a release valve on a high point on the pipework, but more info req'd.
