raised edging stone and sharp sand

Post by keith mac » Fri Apr 03, 2009 9:34 am

firstly, I had my drive and path block paved 2 years ago.. The job was ok but not perfect. The edging kerbs were left too high I wanted them to stick up by about 1cm but they are at least 6 cm above the block work. This makes cutting grass a difficult task.. How can i lower them my self without creating too much of a disturbance to the rest of the drive, Also after powerwashing the bricks I have washed the sand from the joints approx how much sand is required per SQ MTR to re sand the joints.

thanks

Hi

It would be much easier to raise your lawn around the drive and feather the levels in to the existing then turf or have a planted border around the drive

Taking out and relaying the kerb sett would be very difficult and probably
look bodged.

Bye
