redring plus 7 extra

i am tying to buy a new shower but have not got a clue. Can anybody tell me a modern reliable type of shower that i can get. the only thing i know is the one we have at the moment is a redring plus 7 extra i cant find any details to see what type of shower or how powerful a shower i need.

depends on what you want to fit and what you are connecting up to. assuming from your post that you intend to install another electric shower.

how thick is the electric cable running to the unit? should be 10mm2. and what size mcb/rcd at your fuse box? should be 45 amp.

if the above is what you have, get a 10.8 kilowatt shower - the more powerful the greater the flow rate and pressure.

mira are expensive but are widely considered to be the best especially amongst those in the know on this site.

get a pro to fit it if in any doubt at all. electrics and water do not share an easy relationship as it is.
