Remove Concrete Slab from Laminate Flooring

Hi, We have just moved into our property and the person that was there before us had a freestanding gas fire installed. It was sat on a "slab" we have tried to lift this slab but it appears to be fixed to the floor. there is some kind of black silicone like sealant on the top so we are assuming this has been used underneath. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get this slb up without damaging the flooring.
