Removing Border and pulling Emulsion off

    Postby xxxsammyxxx » Sun Nov 16, 2008 6:46 pm

I have just removed a self-adhesive border from my silk vinyl emulsion walls to find that the self adhesive border has dragged the silk emulsion off in places. I wish to paint the walls once again with Silk Vinyl Emulsion but you can see where the previous paint has been pulled off!

I have tried to sand the imperfections down but you can still see the imperfections. No matter how many coats I apply, you can always see a difference in the places that the paint has been peeled away!

Do you have any solutions to my dilemma.
