Removing door frame
Hello, I live in a house which is 4 years old. I have a small conservatory outside the the back door. The back door is wooden and has a small upvc window beside it. There is a steel lintel above both. Is there any reason why I can't remove the door frame and widow to create open access into the conservatory?
In principal no but if you do that it will become an extension and not a conservatory and depending on it's floor area may well require retrospective planning permission.
There are also heating, security and other issues to consider.
