repair materials / flooring ect

hi there,new to site, first post. :) . i got asked to repair a bath for someone which led me to this site. i did a bit of looking around the internet and saw companies that repair alsorts of damage in homes including laminate flooring, where can i get the repair materials for this and possibly a users guide. i might start a business fixing all the snaggs on newlly built homes, information on any type of repair would be appreciated. :)
