replace old wallmounted thermostatic shower

Hello everybody! :D
Im looking into replacing my old wall mounted shower. The inlet centers on the old one is 160mm, but the new one meassures 150mm with no adjustment. is it possible to or likeley that i'd be able to make up the dif at the pipes, pull them closer maybe to allow fitting?
