Replacement Blum Wallspan Wardrobe Hinge - Where can I get one?

by greek80 » Wed Dec 31, 2014 3:57 pm

Hi,

I have a wardrobe hinge that is faulty and needs replacing but I have not been able to find anything online which matches the original hinge.

The only information I have is that is made by Blum and it has the words 'Wallspan' on the plastic outer facing. I have included a picture of the hinge.

Could anyone advise where I can get a replacement hinge?

Thanks

Hi,

In case you haven't already found the solution, this is what I did:

I used Blum Clip hinges and different mounting plates depending on the geometry of your hinge 35mm hole offset from the edge of the door.

If you use the Blum website Product Configurator, and input your doors measurements, it should give you the right stuff. I used 71T3550 (CLIP top standard hinge 110°, overlay application, boss: screw-on) along with a mixture of 6 and 9mm high mounting plates 175H7190 (CLIP mounting plate, cruciform, 9 mm, zinc, screw-on, HA: two-part) and 175H9160 (6mm).

I found M&D Online website cheapest (despite the delivery charges are on the steep side). They dispatched next day.

Good luck!
