replacement thermostat

been advised to change my room thermostat as possibly faulty. would like to get a digital 1. only have 2 wires connecting my old 1, does anyone make a 2 wire connection digital stat, as all the ones ive seen in diy stores are 3 wire connection

As far as I am aware, all digital roomstats only require two wires. The balance neutral was only required for the bi-metallic strip to work accurately on the old mechanical types. As a strip is not used in a digital stat then the neutral is unused.
