    Replacement windows generating brick dust

    Postby TruSlayer » Sat Mar 22, 2008 3:04 pm

I am continually cleaning brick dust off my window sills and the dust appears to be coming from cracks around the replacement windows. What can I do to sort this problem out and why is this happening? The windows were replaced before we moved in last year.

    Thanks.

The window should have been sealed both on the outside and on the inside between the windows frame and its surround to prevent draughts and dust getting in from the window cavity.
