Replacing a "non-standard" toilet seat

by maldra » Sat Apr 10, 2010 10:53 pm

I need to replace a toilet seat on a Twyfords pan (Rhapsody). Problem is the fixing holes which are 9" / 300mm centres and nothing seems to fit. I found replacement seats online, but these cost £150+ so I wondered if there is another solution to get a "standard" seat to fit - eg an adapter kit or moving hinges on a wooden seat? Thanks.
