Replacing Novoferm GDO 500/ 600 Garage Door Opener Motor

Post by Carrots » Sat Apr 21, 2018 2:37 pm

I'm a total novice. My Mam's motor has died. I can buy a replacement for 175 and install it myself or pay 400 to have someone come and do it for her. Is it something that is easy to do with little risk to me/ the door, or should we just pay the money? Any advice please?

Pay the money.

Some one who does the same thing all the time makes a job look easy, but they know what they are doing and if anything is in error they know how to correct it. You don't
