Trustmark and the NHIC
reports from insurance company after water damage
I am a landlord and had an escape of water resulting in damage to several walls of my rented house. My insurance company appointed three different firms to assess the damage. One was a building surveyor, another was a restoration company and a third was a loss adjuster. The insurance company has now received reports from all three and is denying my request to see them on the basis they are confidential. Am I legally entitled to see them as the insured party?
