restoring a faded black laminate worktop/

Post by thelonediyer » Mon Apr 21, 2008 7:18 pm

Is there any dye or product that can restore my black matt kitchen work surface ? It's only a few years old but looks tatty and faded. It looks as good as new when wet but dries into a dull colour with some faded patches much worse that others. I was thinking of something similar to t-cut that is used on cars. My only other solution is to change the whole lot which is something I'd rather not do yet. somebody told me you can buy a dye which is for the joints but I can't find it anywhere!
