Restoring slate tiles on a fire place.

I am looking to restore the green slate tiles on my fireplace , they are looking tired and grubby. Do you know of any products which would achieve this?

HG Extra is an acid based product which should clean your slate up easily used it before on marble and it worked a treat, i bought it from Ceramic Tile Distributors (CTD) but you should find it in all major tile suppliers like Topps Tiles[/quote]
