Rewiring a Floor Lamp Socket That's Broken

by mcnof1 » Tue May 02, 2017 9:48 pm

Hi, I have a floor lamp from John Lewis that has a broken part they can't replace.

I need to work with the parts I have, as the socket holds the shade in place.

I've attached pics, I'm sure it's very easy for someone in the know but I'm completely new to this.

Have I got all the parts I need to get this working? I can attach the shade, but just need help with the wiring.

Please help!

A quick google for lamp standard fittings gave me http://www.lampspares.co.uk/ where you can buy all the bits required.
