    roming a buttress

    i have 4 buttress support along the front of my cottage 1 each side of the front door, can these 2 be removed and build a porch inplace of them be done, or just build the buttress into the porch?

    I would tend to leave them in place,they have been constructed for a reason,so build the porch around them
