Rust Coming Through From Angle Bead

Hello

I have just had the walls of my porch skimmed. After allowing the plaster to dry i have painted the walls. The two main walls were skimmed. The two small wall returns that 'frame' the door (if that is a good description) were not skimmed as they were in pretty good nick, except that on painting the main walls and the returns rust is coming through the paint from the angle bead on one of the returns. Is there a simple way of sorting without replacing the bead (as it is only a problem on a small section of the beads length). Something like rub down, treat with XYZ, repaint.
