Salus RT000 RS

by skybluekev » Fri Aug 22, 2008 3:03 pm

Hi, I'm lloking at buying a thermostat for my central heating system, i was looking at the 'Salus RT000 RS' because i need a wireless one that has volt free contacts. However i have a few questions before i buy this:

1) As the the receiver is mains powered, i intend on putting a plug on it instead of hard wiring it in, what wire would i use and what current rating fuse?

2) I currently have a Ferolli boiler, would i need to buy a specific thermostat for this boiler or ar all thermostats universal?

3) What type wire would i use to connect between the receiver and the terminal on the boiler?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Kev

Hi
Have you had a look at the DIY project Central Heating - Thermostats: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects/thermostats.htm This may give you some useful information or you may want to contact Heatmiser for further assistance
