Sealing along bottom edge of kitchen tiles

by skybluekev » Wed Jun 18, 2008 9:40 pm

Hey guys, i've recently tiled my kitchen, and sealed along the bottom of the tiles (between the bottom of the tiles and the kitchen work top) with silicon sealant. The problem is, when i wipe the surface of the worktop, the sealant starts to peel off and roughens up. I've left it over a week to dry before doing this, am i supposed to use a special type of sealant? I've currently used bog standard silicon sealant. Thanks, Kev

Just use normal silicone. Seems as if you could have a dodgy tube?
