Shifting a toilet internally

by russellfl » Sat Jun 28, 2008 2:40 pm

Does anyone know if I need building regs permission to shift a toilet across the bathroom? and also to install another one in an en suite i'm building next to it. I don't need to go into the soil stack as I will just be extending the connexion from it's present internal position about 2 metres and teeing the new one off that one.

Cheers!

Hi
I dont think this is a while defined area of regulations. My understanding is that you can amend an existing bathroom without notifying anybody (best tell the missus first though) but you may need Building Regs if you initiate a bathroom.
I'm sure there was some correspondance on this issue a couple of months ago if you browse back.
Good luck.
