Shower pump fails to turn off when water switched off

Post by Sarah Laing » Sun Feb 06, 2011 12:14 pm

The pump is a Watermill50DLV. When the shower is switched off the pump continues to run. We have cleaned the filter, and this works, but only for a short time. Any suggestions as to what else we might do? Don't know enough about the parts of the pump to know what might be the problem.

Sarah Laing,
From the manual:- Pump won’t turn off
1. Is shower mixer valve fully off?
2. Is air entrapped in the shower system?
3. Is flow switch locked in the up (on) position with dirt or some other foreign matter?

From your description try cleaning the filters again.
