shower pumps

by paul thomas » Wed Jan 19, 2011 2:11 pm

I recently installed a new shower pump (Grundfos Watermill) followed all the instructions to the letterand placed a flange from the hot warter supply, on switching the pump on it did not deliver pressure supply and is very noisy, as I only have a shower unit which is used a very lot I put the old one back into the system which works fairly well, I am informed br B&Q that I should contact the manufacturer who will talk me through the problems or they will send an engineer out, if I remove this new pump it negates my warranty!!!! as stated the shower is our only way of bathing, can anyone help?

sounds like there's air in the pump - did you bleed it upon commissioning?
