Siemens Landis & Staefa RWB2E Timer Problem

    Postby PatK » Thu Jan 06, 2011 8:56 pm

Had a problem with the wall mounted timer / programmer as the on / off lights would not switch off so it had to be on all the time.

To turn the heating and water off I had to manually turn the controller on the bolier to zero.

Tonight I took the cover of the timer / programmer, prodded (I know I shouldn't have) and put it back on and then when I moved the on / off buttons they were working fine again.

The problem now is that the 24hr clock dial is not turning.

Any help / comments would be appreciated before I call someone out.

    Buy a new one?

About 50 quid plus postage online. Do a search.

hi, ensure the programmer is correctly fitted to base and mounting screws are tight, this is a problem area with all pin contact type programmers.
