silicone sealant

Post by Robert M » Tue Jun 30, 2009 4:52 pm

Hi, I have applied silicone around my shower tray where the wall tiles meet the tray. It seems to have been fairly successful, except that it is not atall neat....I think I cut the applicator nozzle too big. I'd be grateful for some advice on how to tidy it up.

Remove and start again, new silicone wont take on top so you will have to use a knife or silicone sealant remover.

Yep - take it all out and start again. There is no other choice. Incidentally the magic silicone remover only works if you have removed most of it mechanically first.

Cheers
