Silk Emulsion Mistake Help!
I have just painted with one coat, newly skimmed plaster board (When | say new its been drying for three weeks) with a weak mix of silk emulsion to seal it (50-50 water paint). Now I have been told I should have used matt emulsion. Will this make any difference? and how can I 'save the situation if I have made a mistake? Many thanks.
Re: Silk Emulsion Mistake Help!
newbie22,
I doubt it will make any difference since you watered the paint down. Finely sand the surface to break any glaze before you apply any more paint. end

Many thanks for that. I will do and use matt next time!
