Single brick out house using Plasterboard

Post by clematised » Sat Nov 24, 2007 1:36 am

I am changing use of the single brick outhouse which is attached to the side of the house for a utility room.
Most of it I have tiled but there is an enclosed toilet which I will tile the lower walls and wish to add plaster board to the top half so how do I do it.

I bought plaster nails but my son says I have to dot and dab the boards to the walls and he says I need to buy ready mixed plaster and add water

Is this correct as I will use wallpaper and would hate it to go black with mildew

HI clematised,
Yes you best dot'n'dab but use wall board adhesive, not diluted ready mixed plaster to stick to walls.
