Skirting board stains
Yukky brown stuff oozing from screw holes in skirting board - presumably rust? Am using nail varnish remover on it but it keeps returning. Is there any permanent solution that doesn't involve replacing the skirting??
As an aside - To have that amount of rusty liquid coming out I would worry that the area is v damp and that the skirting would rot.
You could try removing and replacing the screw with a stainless steel one or blass which shouldnt rust or try a stonechip rustinhibitor on the screw - like qrust - provided you can see the screw that is.
