Sliding Doors

Does anyone know of a sliding door track that allows the door to fit back into the doorway? I need to change hinged door to sliding one but it would be nice if theer were a track or mechanism that enabled the door to go fit into the orginal doorway. I've scoured the internet but no joy so far but it may be a special name that I'm not aware of.
