Sliding Glass Shower Door Repair - Top Aluminium Rail Unstuck

Help needed please.
The top aluminium rail has come unstuck from the glass sliding door on our shower. what glue or sealant should I use to repair it.
Thanks for any advice or help.

use clear silicone low modulus sealant

Thanks for the rapid reply.

I have tried one sealant borrowed from a neighbour, followed the instructions, left it for 24hrs to set, cure or whatever it was supposed to do in that time.
Next day re-hung the door, within an hour it had slipped down again. It took ages to remove all the sealant from inside the metal fitting, almost as bad removing it from the glass. (Old type of person, don’t know the tricks of the trade).

I will go to my local Diy store armed with your suggestion, hopefully they should be able to provide me with the correct sealant. and see what happens.

Hopefully is the key word. Diy stores seem to employ staff almost as ancient as me.
