    Slopping Path !!

    Postby Paulyboy » Mon May 31, 2010 8:42 pm

Hi Everyone thanks in advance for help !!

We have a mid-terrace house with 3 steps from the front door up. This is about 4mtrs long and about 700mm wide but drops about 500mm over the 4mtrs. My other half wants to replace the old steps with a slop so the kids can get in and out on their bikes easier. The grass either side of the steps has sank and will need to be raised up as well. Anyway, what I would like help on is, whats the best way to put a slop in ? I know i dont need a sub-base put should i build a framework and put concrete in, if so how do i stop it from slipping back towards the house ? Any help and advice would be great !!!

    Thanks !!

I would just lay a row of flags and then a flag on edge as a retainer to hold it in palce. Needs to be laid on concrete.
